IT Strategy/ Optimization Consultant 
Principal Consultant: Primary focus is to build trusted relationships on the C-Level by conducting consultancy engagements that focus on assessment of organizations to define their current state, creation of business cases for areas of improvement and definition of a Strategy & roadmap to transform to the Target Operating Model. These successful consultancy engagements lead to significant long-term downstream revenues.


- Leading Insurance Broker: Generated revenues of over £ 7.5 MM p.a. in outsourcing through successful relationship building and execution of consulting engagement. Managed assessment team of 12 people to baseline the organization of CIO/ COO including full IT Health Check, IT Spend Analysis and Business & IT Strategy review to identify Opportunities For Improvements in the areas of Governance, Organizational Design, Enterprise Architecture, Processes and Systems rationalization.

- Leading Telecoms Provider: Generated revenues of over $ 1.5 MM p.a. through outsourcing to a Managed Service Provider Model by conducting an Option Analysis for the European IT Shared Service function that defined Current as-is state, improvement areas, Risk/ Impacts and the Target Operating Model that will increase flexibility & agility.

- Leading UK Retail Bank & Registrar: Established trusted-relationship on board level through Interim Management of 20 IT and Business resources to successfully deliver products in the Retail Investor Services space e.g. Share dealing, ISA’s, Investment Accounts etc. on a bespoke stockbrokerage platform. 
2007 – 2010
GE Healthcare 
CIO/ CFO Client Manager 
IT Finance Programme Manager: Responsible globally for the relationship between the IT and Finance department. Successfully initiated and delivered several end-to end transformation initiatives by liaising closely with the finance leadership team to establish the critical bridge. This included the gathering of business requirements and creation of business cases required for budget approval.


- Sales & Margin Reporting: Secured funding of over $1.3 MM to manage a program that eliminated up to 50% of non-value added steps in the sales & margin reporting process by migrating 200 users to a new reporting platform. Successfully managed a team of 15+ to execute project that achieved cost savings of $550K p.a. and provided management information with greater detail and frequency.

- FX Exposure Reporting: Created business case to initiate business process change in the treasury department through implementation of a bespoke web tool which measures foreign exchange exposure risks. The provided information on FX transactions enabled efficient hedging.

- Buy-to-Pay Simplification: Raised budget of more than $ 1 MM to deliver a program that reduced Accounts Payable cycle time from 35 to 10 days. The new leaner process allowed quicker posting into ERP systems by deployment of an OCR software package which were translated into $ 800K p.a. cost savings.

Information Management Leadership Program:Renowned GE Leadership Program with international project rotations in 4 different countries on differing Business and IT domains. Roles vary from client-facing to development assignments accompanied with leadership, project management & technical skills trainings.


- Application Rationalization: Driven Application simplification by designing & developing a company-wide Application Inventory tool with workflow and reporting dashboards.

- Point-of-Sales Automation: Managed end-to-end implementation of the full Oracle ERP suite (OM, FI, Inv etc.) for a GE retail business with 20 sales branches in Ireland.

- Manufacturing optimization: Responsible for entire data migration of a manufacturing site in Belgium with over 60,000 industrial products as part of a SAP implementation.

- Reporting Improvement: Consolidated weekly reporting of quotations & pricing teams into automated reports in Business Objects with interfaces to the source systems.

- Salesforce Automation: Siebel Rollout of customer contact & opportunity management modules to 400 users across 5 European countries.
